Postnatal Follow-up

When a baby arrives in our life, the questions multiply: how do I stop him/her from crying, breastfeed, give a bath, put him/her to bed…

Each year, thousands women give birth. Each one is contacted by phone or mail after the birth and her return home. If needed, a nurse will visit the new mother at home to evaluate her state of health and that of her baby, monitor the baby’s development and revise the care required.

Welcome baby, welcome follow-up!

For cases with specific needs, the perinatal team will give newborns and their family all the necessary professional support:

  • Breastfeeding support;
  • Advice on your child’s development;
  • Advice on the care and feeding of your baby;
  • Referral for a psychosocial intervention;
  • Orientation to a community resource.
