When a flood happens, precautions need to be taken quickly in order to avoid health and safety problems. The Direction de santé publique de la Montérégie offers several information tools about what to do during and after a flood.

In 2020, 3,624 Montérégie residents were diagnosed with chlamydial infections, 560 with gonorrhea, 133 with infectious syphilis, and 123 with hepatitis C.
