How can I access this service?
Your doctor or another authorized health professional needs to send a referral for you to be treated at the pain clinic.
Instructions:
- Your doctor or another authorized health professional must fill out a form and send it to the pain clinic.
- The clinic reviews your request to see if it meets your needs.
If the referral is accepted
- Your name will be added to the waiting list.
- The wait time depends on your health conditions and diagnosis. It is not based on the date the referral was sent.
- When it is your turn, you will receive a phone call to schedule your first appointment.
- In the meantime, you can consult the pain clinic’s tools
If the referral is refused:
- Your doctor or the authorized health professional who sent the referral will receive a letter explaining why it was refused.
