We provide specialized pediatric care for infants, children, and adolescents. Our team of pediatricians is available around the clock to deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality care. We also help train health professionals, contributing to better care for patients today and in the future.

We treat a wide range of pediatric health conditions at the hospital, including:

  • Respiratory conditions (asthma attacks, bronchiolitis, pneumonia, etc.)
  • Infections (influenza, chickenpox, measles, ear infections, streptococcal infections, etc.)
  • Surgical conditions (appendicitis, congenital malformations, cardiac conditions, etc.)
  • Injuries resulting from accidents
  • Psychosocial concerns (anxiety, ADHD, anorexia, etc.)
  • Neurological conditions (spina bifida, meningitis, hypoxia, etc.)
  • Metabolic conditions (diabetes, growth delay, fatigue, etc.)
  • Developmental conditions (developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder, etc.)

Where to find us

The day centre and the outpatient clinics are located on the ground floor of the hospital. The pediatric inpatient unit is located on the third floor of the north wing.

Parents and visitors

  • To help ensure children’s safety, parental presence is strongly recommended for children under 14 years of age.
  • Parents are allowed on the unit at all times.
  • Special arrangements can be made for one parent to stay overnight with their child.
  • All other visitors must follow regular visiting hours.

To access pediatric services, your physician or specialized nurse practitioner must submit a referral request to:

For urgent questions, your health professional can contact the on-call pediatrician between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

For urgent medical situations, please go to the Emergency Department.
