The user must present with a geriatric complication and require care by the specialized multidisciplinary geriatrics team. They must also be experiencing a deterioration in their health condition that cannot be properly assessed and treated on an outpatient basis.
Once admitted to the UCDG, the user still requires regular medical follow-up, even after their acute health problem has stabilized. They must have access to the hospital’s technical platform for examinations, treatments and intensive rehabilitation.
